 Rolfe and Hermione's home is a traditional 19th century lodge which faces south and provides you with stunning mountain views. Their house is attached to the guest house through the dining room. Therefore whether friends, new faces, groups or individuals "Papilio" is able to give you your privacy or a social time when wanting one. Papilio is able to accommodate ten people very comfortably between the five relaxing bedrooms, all of which are south facing giving you stunning views of the snow capped mountains. All the bedrooms are en-suite with a full sized bathtub and powerful shower. The fifth bedroom (bunk room) leads on from the fourth: perfect for families or for small groups, these two rooms share their en-suite bathroom. Guests are invited to enjoy the comfortable sitting room with its two large sofas, perfect for relaxing in the evenings with a book, watching a film or for planning your day, and in the winter there is a beautiful open fire creating a warming atmosphere for you to enjoy. For the hotter days there are double doors that lead to a semi-enclosed area of the garden, perfect for an aperitif on summer evenings. In the dining-room, which can seat 16 guests, a continental breakfast will be served. During the day and evenings this room is there for you to use as you wish. It has an abundance of information about the local area and activities for you to experience. For an additonal cost, an optional evening meal will be served three times a week. Please ask when booking or on arrival. The enclosed garden is there to be enjoyed by all, and for children and adults alike! There is a full sized trampoline to be used at your own risk, along with swings and a heated wooden swimming pool. Here you are able to kick back and relax after a hard day of exploring, exchanging your stories while watching the sun dip behind the mountains. Papilio also provides ample storage and drying rooms for the outdoor enthusiast ready to store equipment. During the warmer months guests are able to enjoy the barbeque, complete with all utensils required to create their own evening meal.
